My five master clips

My five master edits - YouTube This is my master five edits, which I believe to be peak cinema.  The first scene, "Dunken run" Consists of Music, and diegetic sound. The sounds here are straight forward, bringing attention to the overall plot of running to Dunken donuts for coffee. The music brings a cheerful and exciting tone, and the diegetic sound brings more real and relatable effect to the character.  The second scene, "Hunger" features a wide range of sound edits. The entire scene has offscreen sound, post synchronization sound, voiceover, synchronization, diegetic sound, and sonic flashback. Diegetic sound and synchronization/post synchronization helps the character and audience understand her surroundings, helping move the plot along. The voiceover was used cleverly to not only fix a poorly said line, but also provide audio for the sonic flashback later in the scene. The use of post synchronization also helped add the sound effect of hungry chickens in the...

Mise-en-Scene Photography Assignment

Prompt: Behind the glass When making the sketch I already had an immediate image in my head. I definitely wanted to incorporate my pets in the image somehow, and instantly thought about how they constantly fight over food. So, why not make a image where they're looking for food under a glass cup, when there's a whole gorgeous world behind them?  This ended up as the final sketch. The sketch didn't undo many changes during the process of making it. I more had to change things as i was making the image. For example, It was too hard to get all chickens and turkeys in one image, so I had to compromise with one chicken. Secondly instead of a simple glass cup I went with something more fancy giving more meaning.  What I found easy was setting everything up. I got a piece of bread, put it under a cup, and waited for my chicken to walk over and look at it. But it was difficult getting the picture on a perfect day where it wasn't raining.  Finale image

Photo collage

Image
This is my camera collage, done for my media studies summer assignment. The instructions were to take a photo of various camera angles and shots, and then write a line of what its usually used for.  When planning the shots for all these pictures, I first needed a subject. So, what better subject then my dog Kane (white German Shepard). Also a couple shots have my other dog duke (yellow lab). You can tell from the shots that Kane is a amazing actor. I also needed a scene for all my shots, so I picked my living room since that was the best place for Kane to co-operate somewhat. Kane was a great actor, however for a couple shots such as the two shot and mid shot I struggled to get him to stand/sit still. However, with a bit of smart thinking (using treats) I eventually got him to pose right. Overall, the experience was very fun.

Camera Work Techniques

I like to think that these clips put together a very meaningful story.

Save the dramatics

A song to listen to while reading,  https://open.spotify.com/track/5IMLktI2bB2baQFTacuyeN?si=00eada0726a84f3f ___________________________________________________________________________________       Save the dramatics. Save it all. Save it all for me.      That's all I want out of life.  To witness all kind of drama. And I'm not going to tip toe around that fact. And yes, I do like to cause Drama if I need too.       Before you call me whatever you want to call me don't pretend like you haven't caused drama in your life too. And before you make up excuses, I respect you trying to lie. Its impressive when people are able to come up with elaborate excuses. And if you think you've never caused drama for the sake of it, you're not only lying to me- but you're also lying to yourself.  Because without Drama in life, existence becomes meaningless.       Ok, I need to be honest though. I hate Drama in ...
