Save the dramatics. Save it all. Save it all for me.
That's all I want out of life. To witness all kind of drama. And I'm not going to tip toe around that fact. And yes, I do like to cause Drama if I need too.
Before you call me whatever you want to call me don't pretend like you haven't caused drama in your life too. And before you make up excuses, I respect you trying to lie. Its impressive when people are able to come up with elaborate excuses. And if you think you've never caused drama for the sake of it, you're not only lying to me- but you're also lying to yourself. Because without Drama in life, existence becomes meaningless.
Ok, I need to be honest though. I hate Drama in real life. Most of it is either stupid, or actually serious. Disgusting. I don't like sitting here all sad or whatever because a pet died. However, Drama from movies, shows, videogames, paintings, plays, anything art related is what I love. And what everybody Loves.
Which is why I've always been in love with Art. Art is what gives one of the core essential of life- Drama. And I love Drama. So obviously I'd go after one of the best forms of drama in art. Film.
Since I have just established the importance of film, to gracefully contribute to society, I've found myself down the path of the totally essential role, Film making. I want to continue to make Drama, that everyone will love, or hate. But more importantly, that I will love or hate. I just want Drama.
Talking about Drama, currently my favorite genre of movie/show has to be Drama (duh) and comedy's. The drama genre is obvious (if you have at least 2 brain cells) but the comedy part is something a couple ago you'd never catch me saying. Recently, I've found beauty in every genre and like to believe that there needs to be a balance in media of both meaningless stupidity and thoughtful seriousness. And I've found that comedies contribute so much to the balance. I mean, how are you going to sit here and psychoanalyze Ryan Renolds in Deadpool and be mad? Its Ryan Renolds! Its DeadPool!
As for directors, I really wish I could tell you I worship someone. I honestly don't really know too many directors. But- I do admire one. Which is of course Tim Burton. I could go ON AND ON about Tim Burton being a genius, but I think I was supposed to keep this blog post short... So let's leave Tim Burton's amazingness to another post.
To end this post, I just would like to say that I can't wait for all the Drama that this portfolio will have. The Drama I get to create, and the Drama I get to watch unfold. So, lets save the Drama.
